FOLKLORE at Joshua Liner Gallery showcased handcrafted, multidisciplinary works by sixteen contemporary artists curated by gallery artist Evan Hecox. The exhibition emphasized the simple, immediate pleasure of visual experience while exploring modern life through art, design, and photography. Drawing on everyday materials and vernacular imagery, the show presented works that were playful, vibrant, and conceptually engaging. Curator Evan Hecox draws on his experience as a painter and designer to highlight artists who transform everyday materials and imagery into engaging, visually inventive works.
