Tiffany Bozic The Animal In Us

Joshua Liner Gallery presented The Animal in Us, Tiffany Bozic’s fourth solo exhibition with the gallery, on view from March 17, 2016. Featuring eight new works on canvas and maple panel, Bozic explored the shared experiences between humans and animals in their universal struggle for survival. Through vivid, metaphorical depictions of diverse species, her paintings dissolved the boundaries between human and animal life, addressing themes such as familial bonds, fear, and death with striking emotional clarity.

Born in 1979 in Arkansas, Tiffany Bozic is a San Francisco-based artist known for her intricate, nature-focused paintings. Drawing from a lifelong study of the natural world, including field expeditions with her ornithologist husband, Bozic combines scientific observation with poetic imagery. She was the first artist-in-residence at the California Academy of Sciences, and her work is held in collections such as the U.S. Embassy in Swaziland. Bozic has exhibited widely and given talks at Apple and the California Academy of Sciences, among others.
